Important Cellar Door Opening and Booking Arrangements (Backup)
Welcome back to tastings and sales at Dindima’s Cellar Door albeit under COVID–19 conditions
29 May, 2020.
As Of Friday, May 29 We Are Permitted To Provide:
- takeaway bottled wine for purchase
- tastings accompanied by snack food e.g. cheese, biscuits, nuts
- tastings for up to 10 patrons at a table while continuing to observe the individual and group social distancing regulations of 1 person per 4m² in total and with a minimum of 1.5m spacing between table/groups.
At present, regulations require that we provide food with tastings. We are currently providing a tasting of our Cellar Door listed wines accompanied by a small individual snack plate for a cost of $10.00 per person.
We will be open Fridays to Mondays between 10am and 5pm by APPOINTMENT ONLY.
In order to provide for everyone’s health and safety BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL.
If you wish to visit, please contact Lee by email: wines@dindima.com.au or mobile: 0408 449 664 to arrange a time to visit.
Visitors with Bookings
We will set one hour aside for you/your group of no more than 10 people if you wish to taste.
To purchase takeaway bottled wine only, you will still need to BOOK a time to visit.
On arrival you will be asked to register your visit with us at the cellar door by filling out a CONTACT FORM. The information you provide will be made available to the health authorities for contact tracing should we be notified of a visitor who has been diagnosed with the virus.
If you are feeling unwell on the day of your booked visit, please postpone or cancel so you don’t compromise the health and safety of others.
June Long Weekend Arrangements
The government is likely to ease restrictions again on Monday, June 1. Whether we will continue to be required to provide food with tastings over the Long Weekend is anyone’s guess, however, I suspect we will so I’m letting you know now so the food element doesn’t come as a surprise. Other cellar doors will also be meeting this requirement with regards to tastings.
At Dindima we plan to continue to apply the above visiting conditions re maximum group numbers over the Long Weekend because of the size of our facility.
We have been receiving enquiries and bookings for this usually very busy weekend so secure your day and time as soon as you are able.
If you wish to visit please contact Lee by email: wines@dindima.com.au or mobile: 0408 449 664 to arrange a date and time to visit.
For visitors who are interested in something warm to eat between 11.00am and 3.00pm over the Long Weekend we will offer a choice of two soups, (Spiced Pumpkin and Tomato OR Vegetable and White Bean) with crusty bread for a cost of $10.00 per serve. Both soups are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
If you and your group are interested in having soup please let me know at the time of booking your visit the number of serves of which soup you’ll require.
We’d love to see you if you plan to come to Orange over the Long Weekend.
Stay safe and well.
Best wishes,
Lee.
We are awaiting notification of further easing of restrictions on June 1, however, the above visiting conditions will apply.
