Orange Winter Fire Festival 2021: Fires of Discovery at Dindima

Sit around the fire pits at Dindima and enjoy a relaxing storytelling afternoon with Tina Leaman, a local Cultural Astronomer and Researcher, and Contemporary Indigenous Arts Practitioner and Educator. Through stories Tina will take you on a journey of discovery of Indigenous foods and fibre plants, and engage you in making a native style of bread and Indigenous string figures.

While enjoying the warmth of the fire and listening to Tina, adults will be able to sip on a mulled wine made from a Dindima premium red infused with native fruits and spices. A bush bruschetta will accompany this refreshment.

Designated drivers and children can choose from a selection of beverages including bush billy teas, native pepper and cinnamon myrtle spiced hot chocolate, wattle seed and macadamia coffee, or a native spice and fruit juice blend. A bush bruschetta will also be available.

During the afternoon damper cooked on the fires will be offered with a range of native sweet and savoury toppings and condiments.

The adult ticket price will include a bottle of Dindima red wine and a native fruit and spice mulling blend and recipe so that you can recreate the taste and aroma at home.
