Tasting Note
On both the nose and palate this three way red blend displays the typical black and red berry characters of high altitude, cool-climate Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. They are joined by the rich plummy attributes of a small quantity of Merlot along with some fine vanillin French oak. In combination the three grape varieties and oak produce a well-structured, easy drinking wine.
The CSM drinks well with a wide range of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern meat and vegetable dishes. Tasty hard cheeses also combine well with it. Alc. 14.5%
