Tasting Note

This delightful blend of Semillon and Chardonnay combine to create a smart little wine.
 

Our cool climate Semillon displays its typical honey suckle and floral aromas (for which it’s known). These aromas are supported by background grapefruit/citrus characters provided by our Chardonnay along with some lovely French oak.

In addition the palate is awash with the characters found on the nose but is dominated by citrus and oak rather than honey suckle.

The mouth feel is broad and comforting, full of creaminess from a secondary ferment. Alc.12.5%

This one-off hand crafted boutique wine is perfect with richer white meats and vegetarian dishes.

Enjoy now or cellar for 3-6 years in ideal conditions.
