The
oils we have for tasting and sale at the cellar door are grown,
pressed and packaged at Roseville Grove which is located near Eugowra
in the Lachlan Valley. These beautiful extra virgin olive oils are
made in small batches. They include two early and two late harvest
styles as well as two infused oils, a Lemon Myrtle and
Mountain Pepper. All are delicious dipping oils but they
have a wide range of culinary applications.
Early
Harvest: Sharp grassy herbaceous flavour suitable for salad
dressings. Good with balsamic vinegar for dipping bread.
Late
Harvest: Softer, richer fruity flavour. A good all round
oil, but particularly good for cooking and dipping.
Lemon
Myrtle: Obvious lemon flavour. Great for dipping, sprinkled
over salads, fish, and in Spaghetti Marinara.
Mountain
Pepper: Great for dipping, sprinkled over salads, barbecued
steaks, tossed through pasta which is then topped with parmesan
cheese and eaten with a salad.
